About Dr. Abrol

A well-made dough of herbs is placed over the affected vertebrae and filled with medicated oil heated to a specific temperature, held in place for a set period. The warm medicated herbal oil works to relax the muscles around the spine, improve flexibility, and reduce pain and swelling by penetrating deep into tissues, targeting lower back pain including stiffness, muscle spasms, and chronic pain.

Common Questions

Kati Basti - Frequently Asked Questions

Dr. Abrol reviews your full medical history and current medication before recommending Kati Basti or any Panchakarma therapy, and coordinates your care alongside your existing treatment where appropriate.

This varies by condition and your body constitution (Prakriti). Dr. Abrol recommends a personalised course length after your first consultation.

The therapy itself requires an in-clinic visit, but international and NRI patients can have their initial consultation and treatment plan prepared online before travelling in for sessions.
